Don Cronin, Member

Don has over 25 years of experience in assisting small businesses and individuals with their accounting and tax matters.  Don started his career at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser (AM&G), a large Chicago accounting firm that catered to closely held and privately owned business and individuals.

In 1997 Don started his firm focusing on small businesses and individuals. Don became an expert in QuickBooks accounting software in 1998.  Don has taught several QuickBooks introductory and advanced courses at Harper, Elgin and Oakton community Colleges.  Don has been a QuickBooks Pro Advisor since the program started in 1999 and advance certifed in desktop and online applications.  

Don formed Consencia, LLC with Jordan Werblow in 2016.

During his career Don has experience in several industries including real estate, construction, manufacturing, distributors, profession consultants, dentists, IT professionals and service businesses.

 Education:

Don graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.  CPA since 1988.

Don graduated from DePaul University in 1993 with a Masters Degree in Taxation.

Don went to Maine East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Jordan M. Werblow, Partner

Jordan is a founding member and provides substantial leadership for Consencia, LLC in two primary areas: (1) expertise in the taxation of corporations, partnerships, LLC's, individuals, fiduciaries and not-for-profit entities and, (2) business and financial guidance for key business clients, often serving in the role of outsourced CFO.  

The expertise and experience Jordan brings to Consencia, LLC began as a CPA working in the tax department of a national public accounting firm for nine years. He then worked for a regional Chicago public accounting firm for several years, prior to heading the tax department of a local accounting firm from 2001 to 2016. Since then, he became a founding member of Consencia, LLC. 

Jordan received his undergraduate Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Indiana University in 1990. He also received his CPA license in 1990 and a Masters of Taxation from DePaul University in 1994. He was the recipient of the Jakes Kidd Memorial Award, honoring the top student in the Masters of Taxation program.

Jordan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society. He has authored articles for publication in The Practical Accountant and the Tax Advisor.

Jordan, his wife, two children and dog live in a north suburb of Chicago. He is an avid runner, which allows him to also be an avid eater. He has personal goal of trying every chicken wing, prepared in the Chicagoland area, in hopes of later publishing a Chicago Guide to Dining on Chicken Wings.
